The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Xixian New Area Central Hospital) was officially awarded the 120 First Aid Station of Xi ‘an Emergency Center.

Recently, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Xixian New Area Central Hospital) was officially awarded the 120 First Aid Station of Xi ‘an Emergency Center.

On the morning of January 20th, the awarding ceremony was held in front of the emergency center of Xixian Hospital of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yang Jingfeng, Vice President of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Li Qiang, Director of Xi ‘an Emergency Center; Liu Lei, Minister of Health Department of Xixian New Area Education and Health Bureau; Feng Miao, Vice President of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Party Secretary and Dean of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Xixian New Area Central Hospital), attended the ceremony. Kou Jiushe, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Xixian New Area Central Hospital), presided over the ceremony. We should give full play to our own advantages, constantly expand and improve the field of pre-hospital first aid, enhance the ability of first aid, improve the service level, and provide more convenient and high-quality first aid medical services for the broad masses of the people.

In his speech, Feng Miao said that the hospital will take this award as an opportunity, adhere to the style that calling is the command and time is life, continuously strengthen the allocation of personnel, equipment and facilities, continuously improve the ability of emergency services, and comprehensively strengthen the construction of emergency information to protect the health of people in Xixian New Area and even Xi ‘an.

It is reported that the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Xixian New Area Central Hospital) is currently the 36th No.120 Emergency Station of Xi ‘an Emergency Center. The construction area of hospital emergency center is nearly 5000 square meters. At the beginning of the construction, the high-standard construction was carried out in strict accordance with the standard of 120 first-aid station. It is a multidisciplinary and multi-professional clinical department, which is responsible for the trinity of pre-hospital first aid, hospital emergency and critical care in its jurisdiction. There are rescue room, operating room, intensive care unit, observation room and infusion hall. All kinds of facilities are well equipped, with reasonable layout, advanced equipment and complete functions, and are always in a state of preparation for war. The hospital has also established a 24-hour emergency green channel, with 9 ambulances, which can leave within 3 minutes after receiving the call to ensure 24-hour visits. After the hospital emergency center is incorporated into the Xi ‘an 120 command system, it will rely on the intelligent command platform to escort the lives of more patients.
