According to "Earthquake Site Work: Specification for Investigation" (GB/T 18208.3-2011) and "China Earthquake Intensity Table" (GB/T 17742-2020), the earthquake emergency site team carried out intensity investigation in the disaster area. Based on the investigation of earthquake damage in 167 investigation points in the disaster area, referring to the scientific and technological support achievements such as seismic tectonic background, aftershock distribution, focal mechanism, instrument intensity, remote sensing images, and combining with the observation records of strong ground motion, the intensity distribution of this earthquake was determined, and the "Earthquake Intensity Map of Luxian County, Sichuan Province (M 6.0)" was compiled according to the "Code for Mapping Earthquake Intensity Map" (GB/T 38226-2019).

　　The highest intensity of this earthquake is ⅷ (8 degrees), and the major axis of the isoseismic line is NW-trending, with a major axis of 62 kilometers and a minor axis of 54 kilometers. The area of VI (6 degrees) and above is 2,613 square kilometers, mainly involving Luxian and Longmatan districts of Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. Fushun County and Da ‘an District of Zigong City; 5 counties (cities, districts) and 51 townships (streets) such as Longchang City, Neijiang City; Rongchang District of Chongqing has 1 district and 10 townships (streets).

　　The ⅷ degree (8 degree) area covers an area of about 103 square kilometers, mainly involving Fuji Town, Yuchan Street and Jiaming Town in Luxian County, Sichuan Province, and Yunding Town in Longchang City, Neijiang City, with a total of 4 towns (streets).
